17/17A/18/163/53 along Rochdale Road, from Manchester Shudehill/ Piccadilly Gardens / MRI / Bury/ Rochdale/ Middleton/ Cheetham Hill / Ardwick / Longsight / Old Trafford / Salford / Salford Quays. alight at Parkmount Road north bound cross the road, go down Blackley Park Road to arrive at Boggart Hole Clough. Turn left into the Park and follow the path down to the bottom of the Clough at the bridge. Follow signs from There to 'Boating Lake.' Approx 20 minutes / 1 mile. Includes two steep gradient hills. The path is smooth tarmac for the whole route.
