There is one step up onto the boat and then 4 steps down inside with restricted headroom on decent.

The boat is not accessible for wheelchairs. Audio description of the space can be provided.

Public Transport Information

Train

  • Alight at Deansgate National Rail Station

    • Take the lifts or stairs down to street level.

    • Cross Deansgate and make your way along Castle Street, passing under a railway viaduct and some converted warehouses.

    • Where you see a sign for 'Coal Wharf Car Park' a barrier and a ramp down to the car park. Follow the pavement here to the bottom of the ramp

    • The boat is under the willow tree, grey with the words 'Ere She Is' on the side in black lettering.

    • There is a bench to wait on until your appointment time. You will enter via the end of the boat closest to the lettering 'Ere'

  • Alight at Piccadilly or Victoria National Rail Stations and transfer to the Tram


Tram

  • Take the tram and alight at Deansgate-Castlefield.

    • Head to the western end of the platforms, where the bridge to Deansgate national rail station is. Take the lifts or stairs down to street level.

    • Cross Deansgate and make your way along Castle Street, passing under a railway viaduct and some converted warehouses.

  • 255 to/from Partington alight at Deansgate Viaduct

    • Under the railway viaduct turn left on to Castle Street, passing under a second railway viaduct and some converted warehouses.
