Who are you?

My name is Ed Moss

I have been practising yoga since 2009 and teaching since 2020. Yoga has been a vital set of tools in my recovery from mental health conditions and supported me while I worked as a remote freelancer for 8 years. Having tried a variety of styles of yoga and undertaken over 500 hours of study and hundreds of hours of teaching, I bring a whole and inclusive perspective specifically adapted for professionals that work entirely remotely (from anywhere) and hybrid - part-time in the office part from home.

Real Life

What will we cover?

Over the programme, we will build on the day before, covering each aspect of yoga that builds on the last. These are known as the '8 Limbs of Yoga'.

Starting with the Yamas and Niyamas - suggestions for living in alignment with life to lead to a less busy mind.

Asana - postures /poses, and Pranayama - the control of breath. These two develop body awareness, strength and a new relationship with ourselves and prepare the body to allow meditative states to arise.

Pratyahara and Dharana - a kind of concentration that causes us to focus more internally rather than our external senses.

Finally Dhyana and Samadi are states of relaxation that can arise as we learn how to let go in a contained way and experience a sense of bliss/contentment.

Each day builds on the previous, creating new neural pathways that gradually start training the brain to be able to be more calm and content.

Days

1-7

5 mins each day

Feel the benefit of gentle movement and stretches, combined with breath and moments of stillness while trying on some foundational suggested ideas for life, starting with non-harming attitudes and exploring surprising places truthfulness can help us

Days 8-14

8 mins each day

Extending the time slightly, we continue our exploration through the body and mind of how to practice non-stealing, contemplating the surprising ways we steal from ourselves (self-worth and time.) We will look at practices focused on how we use our energy and how to become free of worry and impulses.

Days

15-21

10 mins each day

As you ease in to your practice habit we will make time for practicing contentment and applying the right effort - both on and off the mat. We will study our patterns and habits through simple movements, breathing, and sitting moments while contemplating what makes our lives worthwhile.

Days 22-30

15 mins each day

In our final week we uncover some specific techniques that we can lean on to improve our sense of calm, focus and sense of bliss in moments throughout our day, even in the chaos of daily life. Feel the cumulative benefit of regular simple practice

  • What is the 30-Day Path to Calm?
The 30-Day Path to Calm is a guided journey designed to help hybrid and remote workers improve their mental well-being through simple, effective yoga practices. Starting with 5 minutes a day, you’ll learn accessible movements, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques to feel calmer, more focused, and more balanced.
  • Do I need prior yoga experience?
Not at all! This path is designed for complete beginners and experienced yogis alike. The focus is on small, effective movements that anyone can do, regardless of flexibility or fitness level with just a few minutes per day
  • What if I don’t have time for yoga?
That’s exactly why this program exists! The 30-Day Path to Calm is designed to fit into your busy schedule, requiring 5 up to 15 minutes a day. You’ll see benefits even if you only commit to these short, simple practices. You can keep doing the shorter practices until you feel you can extend the time or see what happens when you make just a small amount of time for you each day.
  • What will I need to get started?
You don’t need any special equipment—just a quiet space and a willingness to show up for yourself. A yoga mat is helpful but not essential. I recommend people have a chair near by to practice with. A hard back book or text book can be helpful to lean on or sit on to raise our bumps/hips or a yoga block if you have one.
  • Can yoga really help my mental health?
Yes! Studies show that even a few minutes of yoga and breathwork each day can help reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional well-being. This program is designed to be a simple, practical way to integrate these benefits into your daily life.
  • Is this a treatment for a mental health condition?
No. Yoga is a powerful tool to support mental well-being, promote calm, and enhance your sense of balance. While this practice can complement professional mental health support, it is not a substitute for medical care or therapy. Please consult a qualified professional for any specific mental health concerns. This program is designed to help you create space for peace and mindfulness, wherever you are on your journey. Listen to your body, honour your needs, and know that this path is here to support you.
  • Will this program work if I’ve tried yoga before and didn’t like it?
Absolutely! This isn’t about complicated poses or intense flexibility or a sweaty workout. The 30-Day Path to Calm is designed specifically for people who may have felt that yoga “wasn’t for them” by keeping it practical, simple, enjoyable and accessible.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
I am able to accept a wide range of payment methods for instant access to the programme, including most credit/debit cards, including Amex, ApplePay / Google Pay, Paypal, Klarna, Bank Transfer (note that with bank transfer access isn't instant as I have to manually approve this once confirming receipt)
  • Why would I listen to you?
A good question. I have been practising since 2009 and undertaken hundreds of hours of training, group classes and 1:1 tuition over that time. I spend quite a bit of my free-time reading the various yoga and texts and stories and learning from the Buddha about the mind. As someone who grew up around poor mental health leading to hospitalisation, I know how powerful the mind is. I have also lived with a mental health condition myself for most of my teenage and adult life and undergone a great deal of psychotherapy (which I'd always encourage anyone struggling to do) Things really started to change when I started getting curious about how Yoga might be beneficial beyond just a physical practice. The teachings of yoga are there primarily to help us learn how to calm the mind and it is this mind that is less reactive and quieter where we gain freedom from it's endless demands. You don't need to spend hours in seated meditation a day to get the benefits, if you start a little and often you will quickly see benefit. This tangible improvement often leads people to practice for a little longer as they see increased benefits. I'd love to share this practice with you to help you uncover the calm inside you and the freedom from a busy mind to make it easier to choose.
